Charles Feingersh discovered a very old mixed joint FDC, double canceled from October 12, 1962 by Panama Canal Zone and Panama. The item shows the stamps issued by these two territories on this same day at the occasion of the inauguration of the Thatcher Ferry Bridge linking North and South America over the Panama Canal. This new issue will be reported in the next update of the catalogue and classified as a Parallel issue [P1] under the code [P19621012]. [RZ]

Afghanistan finally also released a stamp in the frame of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), third meeting of the ECO Postal authorities held in Ankara (Turkey), September 20-22, 2006. This new stamp was issued on December 22, 2007 and shows the common design. Code [T20060915], corresponding to the date of emission of the first stamps, i.e. Iran (September 20, 2006) - Kazakhstan (September 15, 2006) - Pakistan (September 22, 2007) - Turkey (April 5, 2007). Volker Dietze confirms that the high value Jersey Queen Elisabeth II stamps issued in 2006 with New Zealand [S20060421] are available with two different background colors namely deep blue and green-blue. These different colors will be reported in the next catalogue as sub-types. [RZ]
